Noahide Naming by Rabbi David Katz: Noahides have history, tradition, and Torah...the one thing they don't have yet, are Hebrew names! Rabbi Katz will provide full support and guidance into the methodology of finding your name. We all have souls, therefore a name is inside, just waiting to be revealed. As tradition says, this is the Torah that we learn in the womb, and upon birth the name is given to the soul, as an encapsulation of that Torah experience.  The naming is a basic 3 step process: one will be interviewed, to reveal the naming qualities, followed by a period of where I will find the name that seems to fit best, and return with suggestions to offer the person interested. Finally, I will learn out the name, and teach it over to the person. If at the final stage, the name fits tight, so that person can feel comfortable with the name, then the process is finished, and we now have given a Hebrew Name. My intent is to offer the Name, so that it will strengthen one's connection to Hashem and to the Torah, and to feel the identity of being connected as an identified Noahide. The Hebrew Language contains wisdom of the soul, thus when we have names, we can identify and connect to spiritual matters more easily, as the distance and unfamiliarity has been removed. It is my dream and wish to allow Noahides to experience the closeness of Hashem and Torah via the Hebrew name/language, as the heightened identity and interest will surely make spirituality a new breathe of fresh air into the soul. The goal is not to change one's self, but to allow the Soul to finally express itself as a Noahide.

The template for a Noahide Name: in a Jewish name, one would be "son/daughter of (בן/בת) the Noahide would be the same, but as : (בין/בית) This is because we follow the tradition of Joshua Bin (as opposed to Ben) Nun, and Esther was Bayit Mordechai (as opposed to bat)

Using all methodology of "Pardes-Pshat (simple meaning), remez (hint), Drush (extrapolation), and sod (secret) to interpret the name, I also employ Gematria and Torah Knowledge to delve into the name.  In addition I use all Torah sources, of the classic nature to investigate and draw upon the name. As I go into the name, a unified platform will appear, that will be the basis of the name.  This in the end, will make as the Torah of the person's Neshama (soul).

The name of a person is like ripe fruit; oozing its message, it just needs to be picked and read. When one applies knowledge, methodology, and insight into the intention and interest of the name reading, it comes out perfect every time revealing the Blessings of HaShem.
